KUALA LUMPUR, — Bioalpha Holdings Berhad has welcomed a group of French students participating in an internship programme in Malaysia for an educational visit to its halal-certified manufacturing facility, highlighting the country’s capabilities in halal manufacturing and the nutraceutical industry.
The visit, organised in collaboration with Art Market Malaysia, formed part of an experiential learning programme aimed at promoting international knowledge exchange and cross-cultural understanding.
During the visit, the students were introduced to Bioalpha’s manufacturing operations, quality assurance practices, research and development activities, and Malaysia’s position as one of the world’s recognised halal industry hubs.
Bioalpha Executive Director Joe Ang said the initiative provided an opportunity to strengthen international awareness of Malaysia’s expertise in halal-certified manufacturing and natural health products.
“Halal certification today represents quality, safety and trust that are recognised worldwide. It is encouraging to see many of the international students already familiar with renowned Malaysian herbs such as Tongkat Ali and Kacip Fatimah, reflecting the growing global appreciation for Malaysia’s rich natural wellness heritage,” she said.
She added that educational exchanges such as these help foster international understanding while showcasing Malaysia’s capabilities on the global stage.
The students also learned about the commercial and scientific potential of Malaysian botanical ingredients and the role of innovation in advancing the health and wellness sector.
Bioalpha said such initiatives contribute to greater knowledge sharing, stronger international collaboration and increased global recognition of Malaysia’s expertise in halal manufacturing and herbal sciences.
